Touch ID makes screen swipe up and down after screen replacement.

I just replaced the screen and it was working fine, but i kept opening up the phone to try and fix a problem with the proximity sensor, but now I have a new problem. Watch the video.

Also, can anyone help me with the proximity sensor? I can’t get the screen to turn off when I put it up against my face. I’ve already scraped out some of the circle so that there’s no chance of it being to dark.

Answer this question I have this problem too

It looks like it could be a bad screen/scanner. You may have to buy a new one. It is very unlikely but possible it is a software issue that requires a reset. I would back it up the reset it, an if that doesn't work, then I would install a different screen and scanner

Hi Benjamin,

I just replaced the earpiece on my iPhone 7 and everything is working fine except for the exact same problem you have.

When Touch ID is required and I touch the sensor the screen starts to jump up and down. When trying to add a new fingerprint I noticed that the finger is not recognized.

Could you solve the problem?
