Why my phone randomly shot offs after battery replacement bought here?

I recently changed my tmobile Note 5’s battery with the kit I bought from ifixit. I calibrated the battery after I install it or atleast I tried. I used the phone for couple of days and thought it was fine but later my phone started to shut off randomly and mostly below 50% battery. So, I guessed I didn’t calibrate the phone correctly and try to calibrate again (drain below %10 and full charge).

Long story short, nothing works still random shut offs. At this point I am wondering if the battery I got is compatible with my Note 5 (T-Mobile N920T)

It’s a bad battery. I would go for another supplier such as Injured Gadgets / Mobile Defenders. Try getting a replacement one from iFixit as that is covered under warranty.

Try calibrating your battery. When you get that new battery, look at this page. Battery Calibration
