Nook does its own thing

Nook keeps changing pages by itself. Wont stop. Resets don’t help.

Its charging fine, the screens fine but it just keeps changing pages / screens - as a consequence I cant use it.

Just found Scots post 04/21/2018 about "Ghosting". I think that's my problem and answer.

I had an older model that did this and the cause was a little bit is crud under the plastic bezel at the side of the screen.

niklaus37217, I like your thinking.

I do have / had an anti-glare screen protector which I have now removed and given a jolly good clean around and under the plastic bezel area. The plastic screen protector could have been affecting it - Its been very humid here of late. And like wise there could have been some muck under the bezel. Anyway I've done as suggested and so far (for the last 8 hours at least) its working perfect again. I’ll give an update in a couple of days. Thank you.

Well still working and no page changing problems. I think niklaus37217 is right on the money.
