Why won't my MacBook Pro boot after replacing the motherboard?

I just replaced the motherboard in my Mid 2009 13” unibody macbook pro. It all seemed to go very well, then I turned it on. The machine powers up but all i get is a white screen. No boot. Any ideas on what may be the cause?

Does the external display show your desktop or blinking ? folder?

by

The display is just a white screen. It powers up no problem and you can here their initial tone but then nothing but a white screen.

Thats from your internal display, now hook up an external TV or monitor what does it show?

by

Nothing. The monitor doesn’t pick up a signal from the laptop.

Have you experience with replacing logic boards?

Other than review your connections I would say the logic board you got is bad. You’ll need to return it to get either a replacement or your money back.
