ipad moves items that are on the far right in FB into the center

My IPad randomly moves items that should be on far right in FB into the center, covering messages etc…once this happens I can’t get the screen to go back to normal

Has the screen replaced before? This is usually due to a faulty digitizer. Is this the 1st generation iPad or a different model?
