Will Re-Flashing the Nand on an iPhone 6S Disable the Use of Touch ID?

I have a logic board that it locked with the orginial home button. If I change the s/n or format it will Touch ID still work?

Reflashing the NAND will only be useful when upgrading to a higher capacity NAND.

It won’t help with removing activation lock. Which requires transferring more than just the NAND, the CPU, Baseband needs to be transferred from one board to another as well.

apologies I dont believe I was using the proper terminology. You changing the s/n remove iCloud lock and Touch ID capabilities?

Changing the S/N won't remove iCloud lock. If it did we would be flooded with so many unlocked phones being sold from china today.

IMEI is programmed onto baseband chip which isn't changeable so it'll read that too.

Touch ID will be retained if you backup + restore the data from the NAND before reflashing it.
