Can you fix a Fiio X5 second generation MP3 player.

Is it possible for you to fix a Fiio player.

Everything works except for the sound that should come out of the headphone jack… Nothing works there is no sound comes out of it. Not resetting the player or anything works. I’m thinking the headphone jack inside is disconnected or the amplifier for the player burned out I don’t know. There’s also a line in where I can plug in my headphones and that works just fine just a bad quality

If the connection from the motherboard to the headphone jack is bad and it needs to be re-soldered, then you could fix it, but, if the actual headphone jack is broken (Fiio shows headphones connected, but no sound) then you couldn’t fix it without a new headphone jack. You also can’t get a new headphone jack online, so you would need to get a warranty. You can check warranty status here:http://check.fiio.net/. Also, there is info here: http://www.fiio.net/en/agreement

I sent Fiio this information a week ago. They replied and told me to reset the device, try other headphones and try restarting it. I did all of that and nothing. I emailed them back. I just need to send it in for repair. They just take forever to get back to me. I need my $300 player that I bought from Amazon to work. It stopped working while I was literally listenening to it

You most likely pulled on the cable and broke the headphone jack. It happens all the time when people are careless.
