Can a Scratched Lens be repaired or replaced?

I have some scratches, resulting form wearing glasses while using the Rift. After getting prescription lens adapters the scratches are more visible. The scratches not deep, but are more of a rubbing of the Oculus lens and my glasses len. The result is a slight cloudiness in one eye. Just enough to make it annoying in certain situations.

Is lens replacement some thing I or you can do? Oculus Support said I would have to get another set, but generously offered me a refurbished set at a 20% of the retail price.

They can drop dead.

Answer this question I have this problem too

This happened to me too, you don’t actually need to replace the lenses, the solution i did was easy. All you need is a lint-free cloth, a non-gel toothpaste ''(i would recommend one with baking soda because it works better), and a damp cloth. First, clean the lens well and dry it using a lint-free cloth. Apply a dollop of toothpaste to a soft cloth and rub it into the scratch using a circular motion. Then, use a slightly dampened cloth to clean away any leftover toothpaste. It doesn’t fix the scratch but should hide it.
