I have a semi-new Oster brand Kitchen Stand mixer. I was mixing cake batter, and the machine starting making a loud racket . It then just stopped. It will not even turn on. What, if anything can I check to fix it ?

It could be a lot of things. This is a teardown. You will have to open it up to see if you can figure out what made the noise. Could be just the belt. Could be a gear.

Poster hand mixer cord rewind is broken. Plastic piece came out of it when I was pulling the cord out.
