I recently bought the new HP Spectre x360 15t Model# 15-df0008ca.
Very stunning laptop. I am very impressed of the overall performance and design. Also, it feels and look durable.
I am curious of how the components may look inside or of a similar model.
I took the risk knowing it might not be a replaceable RAM. It should thought?

No video but here’s a link to the service manual for your laptop, taken from this webpage’s User guides link
On p.1 it states that the laptop supports up to 16GB of RAM.
On p.25 it shows the procedure to access and remove the memory modules. (see the warning note about updating the BIOS when changing memory).

Thanks. I am not ready to see for myself yet but soon. I appreciate the manual thought. Very detailed but seems somewhat similar to my own.

I managed to open my HP Spectre x360 15 (gem cut). Everything looks awesome. :) Except for the Wireless AC Adapter which seems to be soldered on. :(

This is awesome. Were the screws under the rubber strip?
My 15-df0008t has a high pitched fan noise I wanted to open up and investigate. Do you experience this?

The screws are under that strip (Feels like a plastic material). Simply, lift strip to access fan screws and chip. Make sure you repasted the chips after you take the fan off.
I don't experience any high pitched fan noise at all even under heavy load. Probably some type of dust got caught in it. Use a dust spray - https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B007Z7OK3Y/ref=...
