I am looking for charging port for G1 chromebook. Will G# fit?
I have the original series that my son uses for school. it has stopped charging. tried a brand new cable, that works on other devices. The port feels sloppy. i think it may be broken off inside. ugh, why they put such a flimsy port on these things…. anyone know if the G2, 3, 4, ports will fit?

That depends is the internal structure of G1 similar to G#. If yes, and specs of that port are similar, too (contact pins all have the same role, they handle same stuff, so on), than yes, it might work. Otherwise, just get a new G1 charging port part and don’t make it harder for yourself (if it’s possible).
