Touchscreen Is Not Responding

I have a 3g Iphone, I notice when i changed the digitizer it will not respond to the touch, wil not slide to open phone, when i took it off and put it on another iphone the screen works perfectly.so i put another working digitizer from another iphone and again the sam problem.is there something wrong on the board as to why this ill not work on this particular phone?

Options

It sounds like you might be swapping 3G and 3GS front panels. Are you confident both panels are made for an iPhone 3G?
