Bottom of screen doesnt work

hello i have got a new screen put on this phone and it was working fine before i changed screen but now everytime i try to hit the spacebar or search or anything like it reads something totally differnt could you please help

try a hard reset. press and hold home and power for 10 seconds until the apple appears, release the buttons and allow to reboot. if that doesn't work then you need to open the phone and disconnect, clean and reconnect no.2
