Transplant new logic board with its home button to another phone?

Hi guys, I have read quite some questions, but I still need assurance for what I am planning to do. I have an iPhone with iCloud lock.


My plan is to buy an original intact logic board with its respective home button and replace those two components with my locked iPhone - will the phone and its home button (with touch ID) work?

Or is the logic board and its home button linked to the entire screen?

yes you’ll be fine doing it that way. It is not locked to the screen etc.
