Paper feeder is creating lines on original. How to clean or fix.
Two lines appear on original when using the paper feeder. How does one clean the rollers or belts?
Is this a good question?
Check how much waste ink is in the service station on that printer, if you can do this. Open the ink replacement area on the printer and use a high power flashlight to make sure you can see. If you see a good amount of ink there and it’s saturated, that’s probably where it’s picking the ink up from. The reserve on the HP 60 series is puny and doesn’t hold up very long before it’s saturated. This doesn’t kill the printer if it can be cleaned (and you’re okay with the mess) but if it’s at that point you probably have 10k+ pages on it and other parts are near the end of their life.
If you don’t see any significant ink buildup, the problem is likely coming from the rollers that was leftover from another print run that didn’t dry right or from the ink being dirty. Clean both of these parts with a slightly wet paper towel for completeness just to make sure you got the problem fixed.
