Restore manually from the DFU mode

Hi

I have updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 4.3.3. After doing this I tried to unlock it and while doing this my phone got struck into the restore mode. I have tried all the programs available and to get it back to the normal mode. I do not know what I have done while doing this and now when I connect to iTunes it says the device cannot be restored, the device isn't eligible for the requested build. Can I restore my iPhone back to normal manually, i mean by disassembling it and doing something. Please find me a way out.

Kind Regards

we have had that happen on 3 iphones this week... turned out it was dust in the USB cord..try blowing in the cord end and see if that helps.otherwise it may be an itunes issue, we also updated..

Thank you so much with the reply. I have tried both the things, i.e. updating itunes and dusting off my USb cord. With the same cord I can restore my iPhone 3gs but why not iPhone 4? Can the restoring be done manually? by disassembly of the phone and doing something inside the phone??

Kind Regards

I don't believe you can get the iphone out of DFU mode once in it other than by itunes. Try cleaning the Dock connector on your iphone...lots of dust and lint from pockets build up in there. I'd also try another USB cord and another PC/mac if that doesn't work... sometimes technology is a PITA.
