iPhone won´t boot properly after LCD replacement?
Hi Guys,
After replacing the LCD, my Iphone wont boot all the way to the Springboard. Symptoms: After turning on, the Apple logo appears, from time to time the spinning loading symbol appears, thats it. From researching Google I have the feeling this is not directly related to replacing the LCD. Itunes does recognise the Iphone so a restore would probably be one option but that would mean loosing all data as I havent synced recently. Is there a way of either kicking the Iphone out of this loop or saving data (partialy or completely) before restoring it.
Things Ive tried:
-Tiny Umbrella recognises the Iphone but I believe "Fix Recovery" in DFU mode will delete everything (am I wrong here?)
Thanks to the community for having a look into this!!
Cheers,
Leon
Is this a good question?

tinyumbrella should have an option to exit recovery.. not fix recovery...?? I think it does what it says on the tin, makes the device wake up, but I don't want you to lose your data.. One of the other guys is much better at the jb questions, i hope he sees this and can help.

Hi Guys,
first of all thanks for the quick replys!
I am using Version 3.1.2 so tinyumbrella should in theory work. It does have the option "Exit Recovery" as well as "Fix Recovery" when the Iphone is in DFU mode. However "Exit Recovery" is not available for my Iphone so I´m suspecting that it is not actually in Recovery mode, I might be wrong here! My last resort would be to Restore using iTunes and then try to extract the image file and recover what I can. This does have a lot of !#^@ up potential so I am a little scared and hoping for alternative ideas from you guys.
THX!
