This person said that motherboard of iPhone can't be replaced

Hi,

I don’t understand why this person (his name is Dr. Adriano) said that motherboard 32 GB of iPhone SE can’t be recplaced with a motherboard of 64 GB.

Please, read here: https://clinica-iphone.com/consigli-drad... - Use translator if you can’t understand italian language.

Anyway, why a Dr. said this thing, but in this forum I readed many times that is possible replace a motherboard 32 GB of iPhone SE with another motherboard 64 GB that also this is for iPhone SE? Which is verity?

Thank you in advance for reply.

A1723. The model is A1723 for iPhone SE with 32 GB and for iPhone SE 64 GB. In this case, can I replace motherboard 32 GB with 64 GB or there are problems?

Yes you can swap the board for as long as they are for the same model.

Not sure what the Dr. is referring to. Go ahead and swap your board.

Read this: iPhone SE is broke after charge in the car - If I want recover my data, I need to put that motherboard and I hope that someone repair it, but if I put motherboard of 64 GB that is broke in the body of iPhone SE (same model with 32 GB) is better because I'm sure that others components of iPhone SE born with 32 GB work perfectly, so if they repair motherboard I can have again my data and backup them with iTunes.

Yes you can. For as long as it is the same model there will not be any issues.

@pikachu95 No idea why such "Doctor" would answer no, but he's wrong and @oldturkey03 is right, logic boards are exactly the same size and can be swapped. If you want to recover data from your broken iPhone, unless you have an iCloud backup, you'll have to find a reputable lab into microsoldering where they can repair the board to the extent data can be recovered, if feasable.

There are people that tell you you can charge up your iPhone by putting it in the microwave, but I wouldn’t try it.

Yes, I can, but read my question. I asked why a Dr. said a thing and why others Dr. S said another thing.
