Circle Pad is sticking to the right somewhat. How do I fix this?

Whenever I'm playing on my Original 3DS. The Circle Pad tends to stick to right direction longer than that of the others. How might I go about fixing this?

Hi!

Have you spilled anything on the circle pad that might have gummed it up? Or does it generally feel like some gunk might have gotten inside the mechanism? If so, you could try to put a few drops of isopropyl alcohol underneath the thumbstick and move it around. If it’s effective, then your circle pad should work normally, at least for a while. If not, you might have to replace the mechanism, fortunately iFixit has a guide on that here. You can buy a replacement on eBay (here).

As for tools, you basically only need a Philips-head #00 screwdriver, like these here.

It says on ebay that it is 3ds XL mine is a normal 3ds will it still work?
