What is causing this screen issue? No touch/screen (Pictures provided)

I believe it to be the middle connector port but I am not entirely sure. The phone had a IC chip repaired a while back so I am pretty sure that isn’t the problem. The phone was okay at first but I woke up to some vertical lines (but still 95% viewable) on the screen and a horizontal dead spot where you couldn’t touch near the middle of screen (the spot had more lines than usual). This continued for like a week and I replaced the screen and the second picture shows what happened next. I swapped back to original screen and same thing.

I don’t want to waste my time and money sending it to someone to microsolder the wrong connector back on so I would like another opinion on this. Thanks for any help!

What “IC” did you have repaired last time? That could be very important in determining the cause of your current issue. If two different screens give you the same problem, the the issue is probably at the board level.

It’s hard to say for certain from your picture but the connector looks to be in good condition (or is that some missing pins you are pointing too…it’s not zoomed in enough to tell exactly). The one you point to is the LCD connector. The longer one above it is the digitizer connector.

If the connector is damaged, then yes, it will have to be replaced.
