left mouse click doesn't work

left mouse click doesn’t work, I have tried several new mice to see if it was the mouse itself but none of them worked

Could you please provide some more information on what type of mouse you are using? If the mouse you are attempting to use is a mouse made by Apple there may be a setting that we need to change in order for it to work.

Update (10/24/2018)

First of all, to address your non-functioning trackpad we can totally fix that issue for about 65$ total if you do not buy a trackpad that is new nor has the mounting screws (screws are only needed if there are lost or damaged screws). You can replace the trackpad with the guide and part below, it is not that hard!

To address the left click on the mice not working, you may be encountering an issue with macOS. I would back up all of your personal data onto an external drive and try a new installation of macOS to rule out a software problem.

It was an off brand. The track pad hasn't worked in a long time but the mouse was working until recently. Just the left button won't work. Any thoughts?
