Keyboard not working after water spill

My laptop got wet in rain and now keyboard is not working. Trackpad works fine. Even “Power Button“ works fine too. External keyboard works fine too.

I opened macbook and already cleaned using isopropyl alcohol.

I am confused how to find out whether its a motherboard issue or just I can buy new keyboard and replace it.

Options

Water is non sugar beverage so its not hurting anything if it dries i say that you should hold it upside down and get out all you can. Take it to your nearest apple genius bar!
