no modem firmware number and no IMEI also its state ‘searching’.

I had this issue weeks ago. My IPhone SE carrier signal went "Searching" and the Modem firmware number is gone. (General-About-Modem Firmware) My phone cannot recognize my SIM card. I tried the sim card on my other phone, it worked fine.

I brought my phone to my network provider and was told that it's a hardware issue. Try take it Apple store near my place and was told that they can only do a replacement for my phone that cost almost half the price. Or I can have it fix outside, meaning some techs shops fixing phone. What should i do? Please help

Modem firmware and no IMEI is a fault caused by the baseband circuit that requires micro-soldering to diagnose and fix the issue. You’ll have to take it to a repair shop that does board-repairs on iPhones.

i do but they said it was the motherboard and it has 50-50 for it to turn on after they replace the motherboard. is it true?

I'm not sure what the 50-50 is but a motherboard replacement is essentially like replacing it with another phone.

Sounds sketchy if there isn't a no fix no charge gaurantee.

i’m sorry with my English. i means he said there was 50% chances for it to turn on and the other percent maybe it will never work again. um honestly i care about both of it. i’m scare if it will completely not working after the replacement. is there no other way than replace the motherboard?

I agree, with no IMEI / modem firmware issue the phone is really that useful unless it gets fixed. If there is only a small service charge if it doesn't get fixed I think it's OK to go ahead. If it doesn't work again then yeah that's the end of life for that phone.
