Problems attaching the digitizer and LCD screen to the logic board

Hello,


I’m replacing the digitizer and LCD screen on my iPad Air 2 wifi. It seems I can’t get a solid connection when I attempt to reconnect the display and data connectors. It initially worked, but when I had to solve a problem elsewhere, it lost contact.


Initially, the backlight worked, but now, nothing works. No obvious bent pins or other issues — everything appears nominal.

Any advice? Thank in advance for the help.

Options

Try restarting the ipad with the 2 buttons (home and power button) sometimes when messing with the ipad 2 if the ipad is left on and u mess with the connector it doesn't work properly till you restart the ipad

Failing that try squeezing on the black cable from board to lcd or replacing that cable :)

Obviously also check you haven't damaged the power button flex cable if you have then obviously power on and restart won't work :)
