Help! Cut iPod Wire!

While trying to replace the digitizer on my iPod Touch, I cut a blue wire by mistake, and i ddin't get my new LCD screen back, so idk if teh battery works. I could hear sounds (voice control) if i click buttons with my headphones but idk about anything else. Does the blue wire that is connected to the battery/iPod beneath the steel plate have any huge impact on the battery or is it just a backup? : (

Rafael, you said that "blue wire that is connected to the battery/iPod" since I can not see what you see, a Picture would be a good thing. But I can almost guarantee you that if it does come from the battery circuit it most certainly makes an impact. It might be that you have cut the battery/charge or control cable. See if you can find the other end where the cable is supposed to connect. Reconnect it and see if it makes a difference :-) Check around the rear facing camera opposite the headphone jack. I think there should be a red one as well..Good Luck and let us know how it is going.

i think it is connected to home button and it is right next to a red cable

do you see where it connects to? you may have to resolder it...

The red and blue wire should be the speaker wire. You might want to check if it is still soldered right next to where the red one comes of the board. Check for missing or broken solder pads on that.
