Replacing 110VAC60Hz power board with 220VAC50Hz, is there any problem

I have some TV sets with diverse brands Samsung, LG, Vizio, Insignia, Mitsubishi, Sony etc that I want to rework. They all come with 110VAC60Hz power boards, I want to replace the power boards with 220VAC50Hz, would there be any functional problems doing this?

And could I source for the power boards from iFixit?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Thanks for last answer. The idea is that most TV sold has power boards designed for different regions of the world, that is 110VAC60Hz, 200VAC50Hz, 220VAC50Hz, 230VAC50Hz etc.

The proposal is to take Samsung TV bought in USA that comes with 110VAC60Hz power board, swap the power board with same power made for another region 220VAC50Hz.

That is the general idea. It is assumed that those PSU are still included in replacement power board with correct voltage levels applied to various pins.

that is a very generic question and thus can only get a generic question. For as long as the replacement power supplies have the same voltages on their connectors and the same connectors, It can be done. Keep in mind that some of those TV’s may actually have a PSU that has dual voltage. You will have to check board for board. If you have a specific model we can most certainly give you a specific answer.
