anytime you have issues with parts of the touchscreen not functioing you must consider a failed touchscreen. I’d be repalcing it. While you replace the screen check and double check the connectors for bend or broken pins as well. Since tehre is no pecific guide for your tablet, look through all of these Trio Tablet and you’ll find definite similarities on how to repalce the touchscreen
