Samsung galaxy tab 4 Tablet reboots every 15 minutes?

After not using my tablet for about 6 weeks I struggled to get it to charge. After buying an original samsung charger its all sorted but not the tablet reboots every 15 minutes.

Following other suggestions I cleared the cache in asr mode, and have also done a full wipe in asr mode. Now it loads up connects to the wifi and then reboots every 15 minutes or so.

Any ideas? TIA ☺

I am assuming that what you mean by a “full wipe in asr mode” is that you have tried to do a factory/hard reset?

Hi, Yes. Full factory reset by turning tablet off. Holding power, volume up and main button down until android symbol appears and then rebooting.

Sounds like a chip fault, changing the battery might help but it sounds like it’s on it’s way out.

Since i had many tabs that response badly when battery needs to be replaced i would try that first. Otherwise iT can be a heating problem. But my guess is changing the battery Will work.
