Mxm connector have a weird solder joint (pic inside)

Picture of what i think is a weird solder joint on mxm slot imac 24" http://twitpic.com/4v1e5i http://twitpic.com/4v1e6o

What do you guys say? Should it look like this?

The thing is that my 8800GS fried and my newly bought 2600 pro also kind of fried ( could be due to bad thermal paste from factory as well ).

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

That's definently not normal. It might be why your cards fried. (Or they just aren't working because of the slot) Did the cards work for a period of time, or did they not work at all? You might be able to remove that with a fine-tipped soldering iron, or you may be able to scrape it off with an exacto knife.

Don't use an exacto knife you can cut the traces to the pins. Clean it before using a solder iron. Don't use a solder iron to clean with out flux.

Hi guys, long time..

I bought a new iMac 21.5" and the old one is just collection dust :(.

I am thinking about change the mxm connector or just try to fit an old laptop mother board. Does any one know where to find a spare mxm connector?
