Why my iPhone is not powering on?

I try china charger to charge my iphone 3GS during charging the charger burst and my iphone gets switched off with it, after sometime it gets on but its battery was so hot and getting low and low at last finished, after that i try to charge it with its orignal charger but its completely dead now. I take it to repair shop but he told me that inside motherboard there is one power i.c which is not working and motherboard cannot be opened.

Please help me what should i do now?

take the phone to another repair shop and ask them to look at the phone for you..chose one that advertises that they do motherboard repairs.

this could be a dock connector problem or the fuses for the power circuit near the battery connector or as the first shop says the power ic. all of these are repairable by someone with the equipment and parts to do so. you don't sound as though you want to or are able to do these yourself so the best option is to send the phone away for repair. check out ebay.. i know i recommend it a lot but it's because you can see the feedback for the repairs they have done and choose the cheapest and nearest to you. good luck

unfortunately no.. you'll have to ebay/google or use the phone book to find someone. The emi shield can be easily removed to look at the power ic.. you can also buy that chip on ebay or many online shops. the problem is soldering it on. You may be able to find someone who could do this repair for you..any mobile phone repair shop should be able to do component repairs. IF that is the problem..
