You don’t say which switch. Is this the main on/off switch?
Usually the easiest (and often the only practical) approach to camera repairs is is to search online auction sites for another camera of the same model with a different fault. You can firstly use this to learn how to disassemble it using guides or videos on this site and elsewhere, then swap a module containing the faulty part with your original camera.
