Camera is not powering ON

Camera not powering on. Batteries have been replaced, but still it does not power on. Problem was intermittent but now it is permanent.

Hmm...... inspect inside the battery compartment..... is it in order?

what batteries did you use for it? had it been leaked inside before?

Options

The power on / off button on my camera does not work properly .Either the down end unhooked something,or something down there broke off ,and the button in question moves freely either sides
