Location will not pinpoint device.

When I use Google Maps the point has a wide halo insted of an arrow. How can I fix this? Also wondering if I need to wipe the device clean and reinstall everything.

Options

Try another navigation service like Waze and see if it can better pinpoint your location. It may be a problem with Google Maps instead of your phone so let’s rule that out by testing Waze instead.
