What type of capacitor do I need? Help with capacitor codes.

I accidentally broke a capacitor off my graphics card and need to replace it. I’m having trouble understanding the code on the capacitor. Please can someone tell me what type of capacitor I need to buy? At a guess I would say 100uF 16V.

Hi,

The code indicates that it is a 10uF (100 = 1 + 0 + NO zeroes)

101 = 100uF 1 + 0 + 1 zero

16 = 16V

Z = Tolerance value.

I believe the b0 marking is the manufacturer’s code

Is there a manufacturer’s name on the component?

Thanks for your help. There is nothing else printed on the capacitor.

Hi

Here's a link for a supplier - they're worldwide, search for a capacitor that has the same dimensions (D x L x H) as yours, to get the correct dimensioned component so that it will physically fit.

Click on the "data" sheet or "all product info" for the component to view the dimensions.
