Why is there a purple line on the left side of my tab?

For a few days a purple straight line has come over the left side of my tab. It occasionally comes and stay there. Sometimes it vanishes but the problem comes again. I have taken a few screen shots but photos don't have that line. It appears that only the display has the problem. I have protective glass over my tab screen.

Probably because pressing too hard or failed repair or screen starting to break
