you could try and replace connector 3 if you have the soldering skills and equipment, it's not for the faint hearted, you could send it off to be replaced by a professional (which isn't too costly these days) or you could try a diy fix.. use some double sided adhesive tape and place it near the connector, insert cable 3 and then press onto the tape, then secure over the top of the flex to make good contact with the pins.. you could try more tape or a thin piece of foam etc to apply some pressure (not too much or you risk pressing on the back of the LCD) from the display backing.

so you think it's all about pressure? because I tried a lot of tape and some paper, it didn't work, even when the pressure was ok. I think this locking bar not only pushes the connector, but also closes the contacts of connector with the contacts of socket...

but still, thanks for answer

I have an iPhone working perfectly without the locking bar AND no tape etc. You may have been a bit more brutal with you dismantling??? Post a photo so we can see.. How's your soldering??

Did you replace the digitiser? Is this why you are having problems

First of all, the photos... I need this connector (http://i55.tinypic.com/205qpgx.jpg) to get into this socket like this (http://i52.tinypic.com/nlbcs2.jpg) and then actually work :D My soldering is ok.

And yes I did replace digitiser + lcd, but it was after I experienced the problem with 3rd connector.

Thank you

Alex, your ribbon is mangled and that connector isnt holding because one of the side legs is missing. You have to desolder it, and solder a new connector on. It will be difficult for you to get a working phone with it in that condition. Im almost sure that ribbon is trashed.
