Power On, Power Off

So, I found an old DS in my house that was broken for a while. Every time I powered it on, the green light on the “middle” part of the DS turns on, the bottom screen flashes white. Then, the green light changes to orange and quickly shuts off. I believe there may be a loose connection near the part where the top and bottom display connect. The only way to actually get it to work is to push back the top display really hard. Any fixes?

Hi!

Sounds like a loose connection between the upper screen and the rest. Try dissasembling the console and reconnect the upper LCD ribbon cable. Follow this guide all the way to step 16: Nintendo DS Lite Rear Display Bezel Replacement
