after Display change is only getting white
after i have changed a broken display, with the new its getting only white.
what i have done wrong ? how can i fix it? pleaswe help mer.

austin316, it is always possible that it is a defective product, but first what I would do is to disassemble again and triple check the connections and to make sure that everything is seated properly and that all cable and connections are clean and straight. Also try to perform a hard reset on your touch (does iTunes recognize it?)Press and hold the power button and the home button at the same time for 30 seconds or longer :-). When you see the Apple logo appear on the screen, let go of the buttons and wait for the iPod to start up.
If that does not work you might want to try using recboot. RecBoot: "RecBoot is a free utility for Windows and Mac users which allow you to put your iPhone / iPod Touch in recovery mode easily. Its a great utility for for those iPhone users who's iPhone Home or Sleep/Wake button is not fully functional." available for download here. This will make it possible for your iPod to be placed into recovery so that it will be seen by iTunes. itunes recognize the ipod but i get still only get a white screen , no pictures only a white screen when i press the home button.
please help me its a device of a good friend :(
