Can I recover my data from my iPhone that won't turn on?

I've had my iPhone since of May 2017 . Out of no where it wouldn't charge , for hours I was going through iPhone chargers to see if they would work and wouldn't . It would charge but it wouldn't turn on . U would leave it charging overnight & sometimes it would turn on with only 3% battery or it wouldn't turn on at all . It showed it was charging but wouldn't turn on . So I go & buy a new cheap charger from a gas station & with good luck it turned on , but the only problem was that the battery would die so quickly . In at least an hou it would go from 100% to 20% . I didn't mind as much because I was happy that it was at least charging . So about a week later I took my phone off he charger to take it with me some where & when I came back to charge it , it would say “ access not supported “ or something like that . Then I was back in the same situation I was in . So at this point I just waned a new phone . I tried to go to my icloud on my computer to see if I could recover my data but now apparently they send some code to the iPhone that I need or I can't get in . I couldn't see the code because obviously my phone wouldn't turn on . So is there a way Apple could restore my data ?

My iphone 6 doesn't switch on and will not charge. The repair man said it was a problem with the motherboard which was going to cost $299 and 6 weeks to repair. I decided to buy an iphone 6 plus. My problem is I am confused about how I can get everything from 6 transferred to my 6 plus.

Because you have an iCloud backup, you should be able to recover the data to a new phone by restoring a previous backup. If you would prefer to keep your phone, then the only way to get the data is to “fix” the phone. It sounds to me like you have a dead battery.

That would be the first thing to try anyway so I would encourage you to take a look at this guide. Replacing the battery is pretty straightforward.

The battery is good. I dont want to keep my old iphone. I have bought another iphone. The pic on the screen showed the battery on its side with a red bit on one end and the charging cord underneath pointing upwards not touching the battery. When the tech tested it he said the problem was there was no charge going to the battery. However when he opened the phone he said the problem was actually something in the motherboard.
