Intermittent Wifi - probably hardware related

I am experiencing some problems with my A1502's wifi.

It seems to lose the connection sometimes. When it happens, it still can "see" networks, but cannot connect to any of them.

It's the same behavior with OSX and Windows 10, so it's not an os-related problem.

I opened up the Mac, cleaned it up a bit, removed and replaced the wifi card and replugged the antenna connectors on the wifi card. I thought the problem was solved at first as I got my wifi working again, but the connection dropped after about 2 hours of usage with the same symptoms.

Does anyone have any idea where this could come from, and what I could do to solve the problem and make my wifi reliable again?

A common problem is the I/O board cable MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2013-Early 2015) I/O Board Data Cable I would replace that. Make sure the connections are clean and not bent.

Thank you very much for the pointer! Next time I open it, I will pay attention to this cable.

The problem happened again - I reopened the Mac, removed the cable, cleaned the connectors, and put it back into place. I also added a bit of PVC tape on the retainers that are screwed over the connectors, to help them stay into place.

So far so good!

Thanks again for your help Dan.
