Computer screen issue with Canon camera upload

I just uploaded my first pictures in RAW format to the computer from my Canon 1DX Mk 1. When I view these on my AOC screen they are fine but then 2 seconds later they darken. This doesn't happen when I upload from my other camera, a Panasonic TZ8 which are JPEG files. Could the issue be the file size?

Answer this question I have this problem too

When you view the image on the camera, or when first imported into photo software, you are viewing an imbedded JPEG in the RAW file. As soon as the file is fully imported and read by the software you are then looking at how the software process the RAW file. Most software will not read camera settings like Picture Style and the like.

You can see this if you set the camera to monochrome. You will see monochrome on the camera and coloring the photo app.
