Why is my speaker has a poor sound with mac

i just bought my jbl xtreme and its very good with mobiles phone but when i connect it with my mac it's really bad ..

( has the last update 7.7)

Which Mac and what is its OS release? Also how are you connecting to it via cable or Bluetooth?

2015 macbook pro (macOS high sierra 10.13.6), via bluetooth.

i contact the jbl support, they told me you should rest the speaker by holding vol+ and play/pause button. it didn't work also..

I have a UE Boom2 which sounds great over Bluetooth so it’s got to be the JBL’s firmware as I had some issues with mine (lip sync was off) and the update fixed it. Ask JBL how to update it.

I have the same issue on my 2013 rMBP. The sound has a lot of noise.
