M.2 slot? if so what kind of slot is it

looking to upgrade my 5577 from 256 ssd to something bigger saw someplace that it might have a m.2 slot if so i would like to go m.2 256 and 1tb hd but need to know if i can and what kind of card i need

The Dell Inspiron 15 5577 Gaming supports a PCIE NVME 2280 SSD. I suggest the Samsung 970 EVO.

so i'm a moron and just found out just how easy it is to open it up and look under the hood.... and it has a m.2 ssd in it already so now i just need to get a laptop hard drive.

thank you for your help i assume that 2.5 drives are somewhat standardized and that most or all will fit. was thinking a wd blue 1tb :)
