How do I use the NOOK Color without the battery plugged in?

I have a nook color with a dead battery. I removed the battery successfully, but I wish to use the device (plugged into a wall outlet power supply) (without the battery) is it possible to bypass the battery pass through?

*the nook will not power up even while plugged into the wall*

Antonio Cialfi  not possible. Since you already removed the battery, just replace it.
