car starts off slow and good after. code P0962 . replace how?

I have a 2003 honda accord coupe, no leaks in the transmission at all. When I start to drive the car it takes a lot to get going but after if moves just fine. No problem in shifting and the reverse is good too. Is it the pressure control solenoid valve?

Dexter Murphy, error code P0962=Pressure Control Solenoid A Control Circuit Low. Had the same happening on my jeep and required me to replace the Solenoid. There is a great flow chart fault finder on here I know it does say civic but the error is the same :-)I also attached an image for the transmission and the solenoid is shown as #4 and sits on the outside of your transmission. thank you for accepting my answer and I hope that you get your error code resolved with the new part. BTW my jeep had the same error code and would not shift gears and drove horrible, after changing a $40 solenoid inside the tranny, drives like new. So we'll keep our fingers crossed...Good Luck
