Why doesn't TV turn on? Red indicator light glows, but it won't turn o

Really should have a model number and year manufactured. If this TV is an LED, very possible the lighted screen is bad. Referred as LED strips. These are difficult to find and if you find them, nearly impossible to install. On the other hand if this TV is an LCD, your first note would be to replace the signal (main board)) board. You may want to know as well....the power supply is fine as a standby indication (red light) is on. Thanks for asking, Matt of Martins TV Repair.
