First of all, I will assume that the model number is WD-52627. This set is a DLP style set that has a lamp and what is called an optical engine. The problem you are seeing is due to a failure of one of the LCD panels within the optical engine. Since there are specific alignment requirements for the components of this "engine" these are not field serviceable. The optical engine needs to be replaced. A replacement part will cost around $200.

So what you're saying is that the lamp needs to be replace ?
Try that first, but I really think that the problem is with the light engine.
