TV flashes every 2 seconds for about 2 seconds. Have video to show.

My TV is about 4 years old. RCA brand. Every 2 seconds it flashes a black screen for 2 seconds. At first it would start when the tv is first turned on from being cool. And after 10-20 minutes it used to fix itself. But now it has been about an hour and still doing it. If anyone knows what is wrong then please let me know. Here is a link showing what the tv is doing, sorry for poor quality.

SnowyPhoenix13  we need to know the exact make and model of your TV. Check to see if your Menu is covered by those lines as well or if the menu is okay. If it is okay it could be the T-con board if it is not then you most likely have a bad main board.

As stated in a previous response, the exact model number will help quite a bit. From your description, I would think that there is a problem with the power supply providing well filtered DC current. I would suspect failing filter capacitors which begin to work better once heated. This will work for a while until the parts have completely failed. Please post the model so further information can be provided.

Thanks,

Dan
