White Screen AFTER putting back together

Ok so I was TRYING to repair my home button. I put the phone back together and just get a white screen. AND my home button still does not work. So I can not hold down the wake and power button. Pls help!~

You may have misaligned the LCD connector with the one on the board, or worse case is that it is the wrong LCD. Check both. As for the home button, check to see if you have both pins on the ribbon, if you do then you're gonna have to replace either the ribbon, OR the #4 ribbon/dock.
