What LED should I order?

I have a Proscan 50 inch TV i'm working on. One of the back lights has a bad LED. Rather than buy a whole backlight strip I would like to get the right led and reflow that sucker back on. I'm very comfortable doing reflow of SMDs. How do I determine what LED I should order? It's a 3528 form but that's all I know about it. No markings on the led or the strips as to which LED I should use. Soft white, hard white, etc. No idea.

Hi William, suggest you to take pictures and share with us.

You can consider comparing and sourcing the parts from aliexpress or ebay.

I could do that and it would eat up my profit margin compared to 100 SMD LEDs from aliexpress for $1.00. Plus I don't want to throw these things away.
